Emergency Operating Instruction Training Held at Kozloduy

A two-week working session was held at Kozloduy NPP, October 11 through 22, to begin developing a program to train plant trainers on emergency operating instructions (EOIs). This was the first of four planned sessions. Specialists from Sonalysts, Inc., Kozloduy NPP, and a technical expert from VNIIAES participated. The training specialists from Sonalysts and VNIIAES provided technical input and expertise regarding the development of training programs on EOIs. Kozloduy technical experts provided overview training to the Kozloduy training specialists on the use of symptom-based EOIs at the plant. Work began on the design of the training materials required.
